Holy Spirit Lesson 1

Luke 3:15-16

15 Now while the people were in a state of expectation and all were wondering in their hearts about John, as to whether he might be the Christ,

16 John answered and said to them all, "As for me, I baptize you with water; but One is coming who is mightier than I, and I am not fit to untie the thong of His sandals; He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.

John 4:12 "Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go to the Father.

9 to another faith by the same Spirit, and to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit,

10 and to another the effecting of miracles, and to another prophecy, and to another the distinguishing of spirits, to another various kinds of tongues, and to another the interpretation of tongues.

11 But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually just as He wills.

1Corinthians 6:19 Or know ye not that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which ye have from God? and ye are not your own;

Holy Spirit is a person.

Psalms 51:11 Cast me not away from thy presence; And take not thy holy Spirit from me.

Baptizing who can do it?

Matthew 28:19 Go ye therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit:

Not respector of persons.

(NASB) Acts 10:34 And opening his mouth, Peter said: "I most certainly understand  now that God is not one to show partiality,
